Next 3rd October, Espacio Vías will host a new edition of León4U, an event organised and coordinated by León UP.
The objective of León4U is to inform León’s young professionals and students about local business projects characterised by their high technological nature and huge growth potential in the future. These projects offer interesting possibilities for career development in highly-skilled jobs. The target sectors of this initiative are:
- ICT
- Biopharma
- Engineering
- Further projects having potential for innovation and development of new products, applications and/or processes in traditional industries.
León4U is born out of theneedsof companies in the ICT, biotechnology and engineering sectors of León city and its area of influence to show their projects. Additionally, León4U intends to promote knowledge among León’s community of students and young professionals of those projects being developed in the city.
The open day session is mainly targeted toBachillerato students who need to choose their professional career in the medium or short term. And also to students of advanced Vocational Training studies in fields related to the above-mentioned business sectors, not to mention university students and young professionals with highly-skilled training who are looking for their first working experience.
The event has two well-defined areas. One, with the presence of the companies taking part in the event. Another, an area for informative talks and discussion panels. The meeting will take place from 10 am. to 2 pm. in Espacio Vías.
Last year there was a highly successful public attendance, the number of students and young professionals attending the eventbeing estimated in more than 800. It seeks to improve the figures this year and reach a higher number of people.
