Since it opened in May, León’s Exhibition Centre will hold 12 events for the remainder of the year.

The Exhibition Centre, a work by Frenchman Dominique Perrault, opened its doors on 29th May, with the inauguration of the Fair UNVEX S&D, an event devoted to unmanned aerial vehicles.

It has an area of nearly 10,000 square metres that can be divided into three different spaces. All of them can be used separately because there are movable walls that can be arranged according to the needs of the event. Linked to the city’s industrial past, the centre has orange and yellow motorised blinds representing the brick and stucco of the old sugar factory.

This industrial feel is also represented in the concrete floor and the black colour of its structure. The rest of the building consists of transparent glass walls and, to top it off, a roof with 4,000 solar panels.

The centre is designed to host up to 5,102 people, as well as all kinds of events ranging from exhibitions or fairs to sport or even music events.

Furthermore, the Exhibition Centre enjoys an automation installation, two master computers controlling water, light, air-conditioning, loudspeaker systems, the above-mentioned blinds, etc.

In León UP we encourage and help any sector to bring to León its fair, exhibition or event. Call us on 987 875 875, write an email to leonup@ildefe.esor fill out the form below if you prefer.
