León is a part of the autonomous community of Castile and León, a region in Spain that gets, year after year, the best scores in the Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) of the OECD.
With scores over the OECD average since it became part of this international test in 2003, the students of our educational system are the first ones in Spain in Science (the subject that weight the most in the last edition of the indicator), and in Reading Comprehension.
