LEAN is a philosophy for the administration of the company’s operations, developed by Taiichi Ohno in Toyota after WWII to make its processes more flexible and agile through simplifying and removing those practices generating waste. Lean means doing increasingly more with less: less human effort, less equipment, less space, less cost and in less time.
