The challenges and opportunities to incorporate new “millennial” talent into the companies will be discussed during the next session of Foro Empresas LeónUP.

The session will take place at the Palacio del Conde Luna next 25th April, 2018, from 6 pm. to 8 pm. The ‘millennials’, also known as “Generation Y” or “Peter Pan Generation”, are those Young professionals born between 1980 and 2000. They possess particular characteristics which have led to their massive incorporation into the labour market over the last years, forcing changes in the management of Human Resources in order to adapt to those particularities. Getting to know their priorities and how to attract these professionals so as to recruit and retain that talent in the companies is the main goal of this session.

The topics that will be addressed are the following:

• The importance of aligning the values of your enterprise with the millennial workers – CSR.
• The biggest challenge of millennial talent: rotation.
• The key to success: independent flexibility combined with full-time stability.

The fourth day session of Foro Empresas LeónUP will have Idoia de Paz as speaker. She is a Graduate in Geography and History from the University of Santiago de Compostela, with a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management and Organisation from IESIDE, completed with a Master’s in Coaching with NLP and an Executive Programme in Digital Business. She has held positions of different significance in companies such as Banesto or Adecco Group, currently being Consultancy Manager for Deloitte in the branch of Human Resources and Transformation. She is coordinating the annual report “The Deloitte Millennial Survey” for Spain.

The target audience is as much companies from more traditional sectors as cutting-edge sectors which have to incorporate these professionals into their companies over the coming years.
