FlybySchool is an International Flight School offering a course for pilots, acknowledged by the European Aviation Safety Agency, which is taught at the University of Léon.

León has an International Flight School. Yes, you are reading that correctly. This is an unknown fact for many, but it brings to light the talent existing in the city of León. The course for pilots (which is not offered by the EASA, but by a private enterprise, though having a licence approved by the EASA) receives students with little or very little experience and turns them into commercial pilots. This year, the course is imparted in the University of León thanks to the agreement reached by Flybyschool and the Automation and Manufacturing Institute of the Engineering School of the University of Léon in the year 2015.

This course, which also includes training in Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC), enables students to work, after completing it, as a “first officer” for an airline. Furthermore, they are free to fly for any airlines accepting the EASA accreditation. In this respect, we must say that the EASA accreditation is one the most respected licences within the industry.

When they leave the school, the pilots will have gained the necessary experience to promote from “first officer” to “captain” thanks to 1,500 hours of short-haul flights. The course takes place in the flight simulators of the University of León, but the city also boasts an ideal airfield for the implementation of the course, as well as the airport located in La Virgen del Camino.

Moreover, the International Flight School not only provides training, but also subsistence allowance and accommodation by offering a full package for the registered students. The length of the course is 52 weeks, 8 months in the simulator, adding 200 hours of real flight out of the simulator. And as mentioned above, the course ends with the training in Multi-Crew Cooperation.

León enjoys ideal weather conditions for the development of the course, since there are many sunny days, even in the winter. Gain the talent you need in the city of León. Contact us through this form or call us on  987 875 875.
