A total of 120,000 euros have been earmarked to this start-up acceleration programme.
This morning, LeónUP attended the final selection of winners of the international cybersecurity start-up acceleration programme “Cybersecurity Ventures”, in which we collaborate with INCIBE, ICE and Ildefe-Ayuntamiento de León. We attended as judge to decide on the winning project, Smartfense, which received a prize worth of 34,000 euros and which was joined in the podium by Dinoflux, second place and awarded with 24,000 euros, and Kymatio, third place and receiving 20,000 euros.
In this programme, other leading companies and entities at a national level have also been involved, such as EIT, IE ÁREA 31, Swanlaab, Centro de Ciberseguridad Industrial, ICEX, Enisa, DSN, Junta de Castilla y León, RENIC, COSEC, CDTI, Eleven Paths and Tecnalia Ventures.
The meeting was held in The Cube Madrid and the different start-ups have defended before the judges their final pitch on the cybersecurity solutions they have presented for this edition. The process ends after three months, during which the participating start-ups have been trained, supported and linked to investments, always taking into account the main objective: “attracting investment and their first customers”.
